It’s the 21st Century that Expects Everything from You

Ideologies and emotions shape our present. Digitalization, climate change, and conflicts between social groups and states are creating political and social upheavals that affect us as individuals just as much as our environment. The selected artists reflect experienced and impending transformation processes. With their works, they counter the fast-paced image politics of the media with carefully crafted images and thus offer new perspectives on the challenges of the early 21st century. How do we position ourselves in the present? What effects does the reorganization of societies have? How are urban and rural realities changing? What is expected of us? The exhibition sheds light on these questions with photographic works by the Art'Us Collectors' Collective, a non-profit association of private collectors committed to a lively exhibition and mediation culture.
